Friendship in July
There are a lot of
interesting quotes out there about friendship.
I just realized that
because I was frantically searching for a way to start this
article for my daughter. This is why I am late with my July
article. (Today is July 14th.)
There are quotes that
describe friends as:
Loyal
Honest
Not afraid of seeing
your warts and imperfections
Sticking by you all the
time
Going out of their way
for you
After reading those
quotes, I realized why I was having problems finding a way to
write this article.
I’ve felt real
disconnected lately. I have 3 reasons.
I’m coming to grips
with the fact that my dad can no longer live in his home. He has
Alzheimer’s disease and is now in a nursing home. IT STINKS.
I am working on a HUGE
project at work and it has been delayed 3 weeks. PRESSURE.
My body has decided it
is menopausal. YUCK!!
As I look list of
attributes for friends that I’ve listed above and the list of
issues I’ve had lately, I can list my friends below:
My husband
My daughter and
granddaughter
My son-in-law
ALL 15 cats and kittens
(inside and out)
They have all listened
to my CRY, RAGE, and listened to my SWEAT. (I hate hot
flashes.—but that’s another article.)
I thank God every day
for my family—they are my friends. Thanks a million all of you
that I live with. Love you.
